Note on the 2015 Results
As many of you are aware, an accident occurred about an hour before the 7:18 a.m. start involving a pedestrian.The accident resulted in a re-routing of the course while US Park Police investigated the incident. The re-routing resulted in a short course that was measured post-race to be 9.39 miles. Race results include both the actual time run and a projection of runners' times for 10 miles for all runners.
Runners who have run 15K may be interested to know that 9.39 miles equals 15.1K. If you’re interested in comparing your 2015 Credit Union Cherry Blossom actual time with a 15K time, please consider the following:
