he Capitol Hill Competition at the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile started in 2002 and is organized for Mem-
Tbers of Congress and their staff, who compete against each other within the broader Credit Union Cherry Blossom
race. The Capitol Hill Competition is made possible by the support of the Congressional Federal Credit Union, the United
States Senate Federal Credit Union, the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), and the National Association of Fed-
eral Credit Unions (NAFCU).
Out of the 55 Capitol Hill teams that competed in 2018, “Heinrich Maneuver,” representing Senator Martin Heinrich’s
office prevailed among teams from the Senate in a time of 3:21:18; and “Model Runners,” representing the Congressional
Budget Office was the fastest House team in 3:00:34. This year there will be 733 Capitol Hill Competition participants, and
